| Don't know what has gotten into me today, maybe it's the lack of sun, (or sex?) I dunno but I'm sitting here working on Quickbooks, (grrrr) and listening to a Beatles CD that Mitchell made with a ton of songs on it, 228 to be exact. (Thanks Mitchell for ALL the music!)
Two songs in particular got to me, 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'She's Leaving Home'. I never realized how sad they were and I started thinking about how one's viewpoint changes thru life and for the first time listened to 'She's Leaving Home' as a parent and not the child. I was pleasantly lost in thought about all that when BAM, all of a sudden 'When I'm 64' starts playing and YIKES! realized how close I am to that age and how at one time 64 used to be so far in the future....but not anymore. Where DOES the time go? Seriously, John Lennon was right when he said, "Life is what happens, when you're busy making other plans." So, stop and enjoy the scenery. We all know this but it's nice to be reminded of it from time to time. Realize what is really important in life and take pleasure from it all as much as you can. I want to say Thank You to everyone who is important in my life. How would I get through the day without you? *All You Need is LOVE* right? now back to quickbooks........ |
